The National Reading Day is celebrated to honour the father of the 'Library Movement in Kerala' late PN Panicker whose death anniversary is commemorated on June 19,2021.
As part of National Reading Day celebration, Malayalam department of Mannam Memorial Training College organized a Seminar in connection with Malayalam aikya Vedi kollam district, via Google meet platform on 19/06/2021
@ 5 pm. The programme was started with the welcome speech of Vishakh (student from Malayalam Department). Later , main seminar talk on the topic 'Mathrubhashayum Viknjana vinimayavum- Vayanadhina Chinthakal' delivered by Roopika Maam( Member of Malayalam Aikya Vedi Committee).
She presented an excellent speech on the topic and point out the importance of reading.
Then , Jaya Teacher (Asst Prof in Psychology, MMTC, Vilakkudy) delivered the felicitation speech & Kavya Shashakan (Student from Physical science Department) from the part of student felicitation speech.Programme came to it's end with the Vote of thanks by Neethu ( Student from Department of Malayalam). Most of students took part in the programme.
