TEACHER'S DAY

 " True teachers are those who help us think for ourselves." - Dr.S Radhakrishnan.

          Every year teachers day is celebrated on September 5  birthday of Dr. S Radhakrishnan- second president of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well known diplomats,scholar,president of India and above all a teacher.As a tribute to this great teacher his birthday has been observed as teachers day.The teachers are guiding light of every one's life.

   

          As a part of the teachers day celebration each department of MMTC Vilakudy conducted different competition and webinar virtually. Social Science department conducted a webinar on the topic "ONLINE EDUCATION AND TEACHERS on Sep 5 , 10 AM. The webinar was hosted by Arathy from social science department  and welcome speech was done by Ashmi from social science department. The Principal  Santhosh Kumar Sir delivered the key note address. Later, talk on the topic was presented by Dr.Pradeep Iravnkkara (Head of Malayalam department, NSS College Pandalam).It was very interesting and inspiring.Then jibi teacher (Malayalam department MMTC ), Ansiya (student maths department MMTC), Bhama Venugopal (student from malayalam department) delivered falicitational speech. The webinar was ended with the vote of thanks by Salma from Social Science department. 

                                      The next programme was conducted by department of natural science online quiz programme called "ARIV ARANG". Maths  department conducted a experience note competition on the topic "ADYAPAKA VIDYARTHI-ADYAPAKAN VALARUNNA CHINDHAGATHIKAL". Physical Science department conducted a photo contest programme entitled as " HAPPY SNAP". Later a prize distribution programme was conducted evening 3 PM. It was hosted by Bhama Venugopal from Malayalam department. Surya from maths department welcomed every one to the function and Kavya Shashankan from Physical Science department delivered an introductory speech. Later,  Principal Santhosh Kumar Sir announced the winners.The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Rejeena from Natural Science department. Then the posters of winners were shared virtually. The whole programme was well coordinated by teachers and students of MMTC. It was good moment in our life.
